Sue grew up with animals and has always had a passion for them. When she moved into her own home (years ago) she got her first Bernese Mountain Dog Tucker. He was an amazing worker who introduced her to the fun world of clicker training and dog sports. Since Tucker, Sue has always lived with at least one (sometimes two) Bernese Mountain Dogs and has done multiple sports with all of them. These sports include rally, obedience, carting, freestyle, and nose work.
Sue was fortunate enough to participate in workshops and training with many talented clicker teachers and trainers early on. She attended Chicken Clicker camp in Missouri when it was run by clicker training originator Marian Breland Bailey and her husband Bob Bailey, has been to ClickerExpo more than once, and been taught by Karen Pryor. Sue continues to improve her skills by attending classes, workshops, and seminars regularly.
Sue has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and her PMP. She worked as an engineer before coming to BlueDog 2021. Since joining BlueDog, she has become a certified Control Unleashed instructor (CCUI).
